Start your career in the Emergency Medical Services now. At the Irvington Volunteer Ambulance Corps, located in beautiful Westchester County New York, we offer the Emergency Medical Technician Basic course. Our training center has been sponsoring this course for over 30 years! Our experienced instructors will train you in all aspects of basic Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Care, and prepare you for certification as a New York State Emergency Medical Technician-Basic. Our EMT-Basic course is held every spring, summer and fall. To enroll, you must be at least 17 years of age by the date of the New York State exam. No prior medical training is required.
