Do you and your EMS agency currently participate in the NYS CME Program (Pilot Program)? Well if so, Affiliate with the IVAC CME Program for your recertification needs! As a NYS BLS Course Sponsor, we offer a NYS DOH approved CME Recertification Program. With recent 2016 changes to our CME Program, interested EMTs can now affiliate with IVAC for CME Recertification, with no risk of monetary penalty to their EMS Agency!

 

Our program provides its participants with all the necessary recertification requirements annually including 26 hours of Core Content  (National Standards) and a Practical Skill review session. Participants are also allowed access to all regularly scheduled EMT Course lectures for CME credit. In a 3 year period, our program provides all of the required 72 hours of training and then some. In addition, we maintain, prepare, and file all recertification paperwork for our participants making recertification with NYS a breeze! As an affiliated student, you will also have electronic access to all of your CME records online, as well as recertification guidance from our staff EMS instructors. 

 

To affiliate with IVAC for CME Recertification:

• You must be a NYS EMT (You can not be expired)

• You must be an active member or employee of a NYS EMS agency that is a registered participant in the NYS CME Program(pilot program) and provide proof.

• You must download and review our affiliation agreement, and return the signature page to IVAC.

• You must download, complete, and return the Membership Verification Form to IVAC.

• You must download, complete, and return the Participant Registration Form to IVAC. 

 

The tuition for this course is paid by NYS DOH upon successful completion of the course. Successful course completion means that the student has completed all requirements for recertification, and that IVAC is able to file the recertification paperwork with the NYS DOH, and receive reimbursement. The student will be responsible for the course tuition in the amount of $300 if the student fails to complete the course for any reason.
